Postinor-2 (2 Tabs)

Postinor-2 is an emergency contraceptive pill that is used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sexual intercourse or a known or suspected contraceptive failure. Each pack contains two tablets, with each tablet containing levonorgestrel, a synthetic hormone. The first tablet should be taken as soon as possible, preferably within 12 hours of intercourse, but no later than 72 hours (3 days) after. The second tablet should be taken 12 hours after the first dose.

It is important to note that Postinor-2 is an emergency measure and should not be used as a regular method of birth control. It works by preventing ovulation or fertilisation and should be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional. This medication does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
